"It looks bad" is not a good enough argument for me, if you want a cleaner view you can "Toggle View All Subforums" at the bottom of the page.
In summary, if the game has actually been shut down then I don't see why not. If it's still up keep it.

Also some players might having like a small community with a game they share,
it might be their place to meet each other even if they just are 5-10 ppl. Why taking
that place away from them? When it does no harm?
Let them forums stay as long as the game still exist imo.
