Section 1: About

HyperCam is commonly used to record game play of many games, such as Diablo II.
HyperCam version 2, a product of Hyperionics, is now offered free for world-wide usage, both for private use and commercially.

HyperCam captures the action from your Windows screen and saves it to AVI (Audio-Video Interleaved) movie file. Sound from your system microphone is also recorded.

HyperCam v.2 is compatible with Windows 8 and 7, Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit releases), XP and 2000

Go ahead and read over the Terms & Conditions. Click Yes!

Next, you'll receive some offers for more freeware (2x). Respectfully decline.

Installation complete!

Now that HyperCam is installed, let's set it up. Since HyperCam is open, go ahead and also open the game you wish to record.

Bring up HyperCam and click "Select Window". Toggle back to your game and you will see a blinking white border around whichever window you have your cursor on.

Simply click on the window you'd like to record. Now, click "Start Rec." to begin recording your game play.

Section 4: Configure

The 'Hot Keys' tab is where you can configure your shortcut record settings. Adjust to your liking for easy access!

The 'AVI File' tab is where you can select which folder to have HyperCam place your video's in after you record.

I'd recommend leaving the default FPS settings as is!

The 'Sound' tab is where you can select your input device so you may record sound with game play footage. Nice for commentaries!
