I get you’re saying, but it’s also a fancy way of saying you haven’t enjoyed your team’s decade of being awful, and you last enjoyed the NHL when the Oilers were competitive.

Nah , my team honestly has been the Pens since the Lemieux era, when Crosby showed up I wanted to care about his career like Lemieux's but the hockey and play style just wasn’t the same and wasn’t entertaining. Same with MacDavid, I want to care and get excited about his career and the outcome of games but when we lose or when he scored 100 this year I just didn’t care a lot.

The older you get the less what a bunch of millionaires in a game do matters.
