It was a pretty entertaining MMO. Not that it had any real resemblance to DND play, but with the addition of epic levels it skews off into less and less DND-esque play.
Leveling a full kit of epic destinies also takes an inordinate amount of time, and most builds are completely lackluster until they hit key parts of the destinies, to the point of a group of like 5 people are less influential than a fully set up character.
Honestly the game has devolved quite a bit with mana potions being shoppable for irl money. If you have money to spend and want to be broken, you can run any sort of caster with them and be completely self sufficient.
