Explain which skills are required, enlighten us!

Well the thing is define 'skills' first. One could argue whole d3 requires no skill since its pay to win and it's true. The whole game is essentially a gearcheck.

What are skills for you in d3? Define for me.

Example PK skill:

Escape from your trap with 10k+ msec lag on MP5 and make it out alive. Not a little trap but FoM + Cemetary + Weeping or something like that.

If you have never PK'ed before you don't what it's like. Especially when your trap is big with multiple frozen it's pretty hard and frustrating.

And ofcourse without leave/resume

A lot is about gear choice, for hardcore it means balancing DPS and EHP in the right way. For PK it's simple: pick barb, max vit/res/block, inspiring presence and presto!

The other part is how you play the game. People can copy skills off a guide, but they don't understand when to use what skills. I change skills all the time: solo, 4 players group farming, ubers, teaming up with high or low dps mates, with different classes, different MPs etc. And then there is interaction between gear and skills, for example changing from S&B to DW requires almost totally new gear to extract the maximum benefit.

I've got friends who play MP7 with VERY so-so gear and friends with $$$$ gear who can't play MP5.

What skill is required to make a PK trap? Run back and forth to attract monsters, use a cc skill or ignore pain once every while and presto! It really is too easy, I wish it would be difficult and risky, then I would at least respect it in some way.

PS Paying to win is like cheating. I would never have fun in a game I gave myself an advantage in, I can't comprehend why people would ever *cheat* in a game? Might as well not play then! My only guess is that cheating enables them to excel in something and get 'false' respect from others, which they need for their morale.

makes me laugh when ignorant fools like this think u just slap on doom and stormshield and u can idle MP5 ...

a successful PKer has to plan the setup, precisely time their skills (or die), and balance / filter mobs ALL while appearing "stable" to deceive potential victims .
The fact that you think blazing through MP3 with 100k + dps takes more skill than killing another player makes us all roll our eyes at you ;D

Its funny, i really think you are serious when you use PK and skill in the same sentence.
One must be incredibly stupid to think that PK requires skill.

So what is skill in diablo 3
1. never buy gold/items with real money
2. never exchange softgold for hardcore gold if you want to play hardcore
3. play higher and higher mp on hardcore until you reach or surpass your limits
4. help the team you are in
5. take a piss on pk-ers (thats more like a personal choice )

Oh, come on, who are you kidding here! You can idle for minutes with 200k vit/10k armor/800AR/4000+ regen...

Last time I played MP3 with my monk was when he was paragon 3 or something and had 50k DPS. Playing MP8 solo with a *monk* requires skill in my opinion, not much room too fuck up. If I open the chat window I'm instantly dead, now compare that to your PK videos, notice a difference?

You know I could make the biggest trap ever on MP6-7. Get the ping high enough to cause 10sec delays and challenge you to TP me with your EHP gear. You say it requires no skill. I disagree.

I challenge you. Take my WP and if you can get out without leave/resume I'll give you 100million gold.

I will record it all. Are you man enough to accept my challenge? Or is it all talk?

You're allowed to copy other PKers gear and skillset.
