I guess the way the Mexican league works. Only the top 8 teams make it too the playoff's. And they get seeded in accordance to 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5. And the top 4 teams get the 0.5 goal advantage. Which means if they tie, they get the win.

Since we tied both games, we advanced since we finished in first place in the season.
