Interesting find, pity it was not found when the 19.05% Item Stat Quality was in effect, could have been a 23 instead of a 3:
Angelic brocade padded robe
Level Req: 10
Physical Defense: 0 to 28
Magical Defense: 28 to 70
+51% Enhanced Effect+3 Strength
+293 Max Life+1% Glancing Blow

Anyway, in one of those random moods for a Guide... again, most likely won't finish it, but the thought is there. I will need some re-writing on the paragraphs to shorten them down, BUT, still be comprehensive to the reader. Thanks for any help.
Prof Hunting Guide:
This is NOT a concrete guideline for you to follow, it is just some information and another "Goal" mindset for your own play style. Note: You don't get any rewards for Guild Points unless it is for E-Peen. Now if you are after unlocking characters as fast as you can, there still isn't any point (note: my personal opinion here).
Basics:
1-10 (maximum) Prof points gained during a Wave [unless during an event with +X% Maximum Proficiency].
Applies to encountering monsters on a new square you have moved to, or a Well monster from the white item you put into the Well)
... Note: When engaging monster types like Slugslider / Gigabee and they "Call for Help" during that wave, the maximum of 10 prof points are still current... you have to CLEAR the wave and encounter a new group.
... 2nd Note: If you encounter Slugslider / Gigabee and they fill up the screen with more monsters that you can handle, then you leave the group, make a new group (this is solo'ing) to clear them, the next game (group you made), you have to kill the first encounter BEFORE being able to gain prof points... so basically you can not just "encounter a group, then heal yourself to gain max 10 prof points, leave game, remake game and encounter a new group (you will gain 0 prof points).
From personal experience and others testing, there are "Caps" to obtaining prof points based on your Character Level vs Monster Level vs Item (Tier) Level you are using, this also includes High level healer helping a full group (example: level 71 Warlock healing ONLY with 4 other players level 50 or below and healing those players will NOT give your mage any prof points... BUT, but, when healing yourself, you gain prof points, I tested this personally @ level 5x with a guild member @ level 30'ish if I remember correctly [pointed @ Trev
).
Other people have tested prof gain with Weapons and Damage Casting Charms on average out of 100 wave encounters, they basically say it is like 20% gain, this is NOT incorrect when using
above average to great items during that wave or Run. You think I am nuts right, well it is simple, IF you kill a wave (1-3 monsters) in 1-9 ACTIONS, you kill more monster(s) each wave(s) vs prof gain, i.e. 1-10 Maximum prof gain PER wave (so, when encountering 1 monster in a wave, YOU have a chance to get 10 maximum prof points, BUT, if you kill it in one(1) action, you have a 50% chance to gain one(1) prof point).
Healing Prof Gain has a better outcome vs Melee / Dmg Casting because the rate of gaining a prof point is 60%, also this is the ONLY (needs more testing) prof gain where you can heal higher than level 71 and also use lower tier charms. (note: more on this later)

I will continue more on this at a later stage if I get in the mood, thanks for any alterations to the above paragraphs to make them shorter and more concise.
