Understand fully where you are coming from. I do have a difference of opinion because my timezone is different to that of the Mediator in charge of that section of the forum, so PM'ing him/her gets to that person 8 hours later if not more and the thread runs longer... BUT... if there were multiple infractions, a Mediator or Trusted that is online already could see that it may need attending to, they look at the thread / post, they deliver their own verdict and choose what to do... close thread or make the post "inappropriate".
This is where people forget things... the site is Worldwide and different timezones have an effect not only on infringements, but also suspensions... by the time I get suspended, I am asleep, by the time I wake up to get online, the suspension has expired and the only reason why I know I got suspended is because I have a PM with a suspension notice.
Kind of pointless suspending someone who is sleeping and isn't affected by it.
