If Scholz does a decent enough job, Habeck's not gonna beat him. If the coming government does a bad job, chances are that voters will vote for one of the parties to the right of the center to correct course.
Funnily enough, covid really screwed the Greens. With all the momentum the climate movement had built in 2019, can you imagine where they would be now if we had talked about nothing but climate change throughout 2020 and 2021 as well?

i agree on covid though, without that we would probably look at 30% for the green party
sunday is going to be interesting (aside from the fact that any result will make things even worse), i think the people making the polls will be in for a suprise
my prediction right now would be: the CDU (merkels party) and laschet will win and the greens in second place despite the polls
i can see people vote for the christian democrats to prevent a lefty chancellor and the greens are running propaganda shit like blackmailing old people into voting green
the liberals get a decent result, alternative for germany below 10%
