If I had a dollar for every time i heard "intersectional" on a date I wouldn't have to work anymore.

Buzzwords are awesome, whenever I hear people use words like "inclusion", "intersectional" etc. I know exactly who not to hire, associate with, etc.

When colleges stuck to real science, and real liberal arts... they were pretty useful. Since they've become havens for people "on a mission" of some sort... not so much.

It seems to me that folks that feel the need to continually complain about society, probably should be seeing a shrink, rather than going to college. Why "arm" idiots?

Intersectionality, also referred to as intersectional feminism, is a branch of feminism which identifies how different aspects of social and political discrimination overlap with gender.[1] It is a non-empirical qualitative analytic framework that applies deconstructionist critical theory (a literary criticism method) to attempt to identify how interlocking systems of power impact those who are most marginalized in society.

On a side note... non-empirical, most often means... bullshit.

In the meme words that you might understand:

Quote
[...] The [Anti-Defamation League] has been highly critical of a...speech delivered by Rep. Steve King, an Iowa Republican, in which he argued that illegal immigrants have killed many more Americans since September 11, 2001, than were killed in the Al Qaeda attacks that day. King, who was speaking to a gathering of anti-immigration activists in Las Vegas, warned that "we have a slow motion holocaust on our hands."

I sleep.

This administration has established concentration camps on the southern border of the United States for immigrants, where they are being brutalized with dehumanizing conditions and dying.

Pretty low to compare the holocaust where people were literally starved, beaten, tortured to death to people willingly and knowingly crossing a border illegally getting caught, then getting placed in housing with food, water, & medical attention only to be released a few months later.

Never in my life will I support a party that pushes such a false equivalence for political points.

Yes you will and do

Go listen to right wingers talk about "conservative" censorship go listen to them talk about Christianity in the context of something happening they don't like in the US

Go listen to them when they get triggered because someone said white in a way they didn't like
