It's within their legal rights but it's still discrimination. They would not kick a white group out of Starbucks for waiting for their friend to get there to order.
By the way their friend actually showed up so not like they were lying.
I think they were meeting at Starbucks to go elsewhere. If you're at starbucks with the intention to order food, but your buddy is on the way, and the manager asks you to leave because you're not customers, what do you do? Order a drink and sit the fuck back down. Either they never intended to order, or they were just being difficult for no reason. Seems silly they got a trespass charge (later dropped), but that also leads down the being difficult for an unknown reason road. If you wont leave when told to by the manager usually the cops showing up is an "ok ok ill go" moment. most people aren't gonna take an arrest and charge just for kicks. while this could be interpreted to be some sort of Soros is hiring people to do this tinfoil theory i'm just suggesting they're difficult people who made it hard on themselves for no reason. some people don't like to be told no, and will double down and dig their heels in against all common sense and as many good outs as their offered. seems like these 2 fit the bill and ran into the wrong kind of manager who is of the same type of personality.
