Sanchez hasn't been in form since last season, so I doubt he would be an improvement at all.
He gives us the element of surprise, which we don't really have right meow.
With Jesus out injured for another couple weeks, if Kun, Sane, or Sterling gets injured we'll struggle, or we'll have to play Kevin there which will take him away from his preferred position.
Alexis versatility being able to play LW/ST/RW really opens up a lot. Plus he doesn't have to really learn the system.
Apparently our board told Pep of we don't get Sanchez he'll have the funds to go for a world class forward.
