It’s not the line it once was man…lane is aging and injuries catch up to you and your anchor on the interior is gone. I like Dickerson but he’s not Kelce..none of them are. And just so we are clear..he won’t be healthy and he has terrible vision so unless you’re opening holes for a semi it’s not gonna matter
If you think Kelce was the only reason this line has been so good....you haven't been paying attention lol. We are SO spoiled when it comes to the O-line.
Lane Johnson, Landon Dickerson, and Jordan Mailata are all elite at their positions. The best or among the best in the game. So much so that the Eagles just made Dickerson the highest paid guard in NFL history. Mailata is only 26 years old, and Dickerson is 25.
Kelce's replacement, Cam Jurgens (24 years old), who they drafted several years ago in the 2nd round, is a beast as well. Kelce is the one who helped select him and made the recommendation to the front office. Jurgens has shined starting at RG the last couple of years waiting for Kelce to retire, and is now expected to take over his true position (C) where he should be even better than he has already been at guard.
If there's one area where we typically don't have to worry, it's O-line lol. Stoutland University is as good as it gets.
