@RapSheet #Eagles GM Howie Roseman is always working the phones. They quietly mined the safety market and ended up with a star.

Cutting Harris, and bringing in youth by trading for 24 year old Gardner-Johnson to be the full time safety. Love it.

This has been one hell of an off-season.

Full trade terms:

🏈Eagles receive safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and Saints’ 7th-round pick in 2025.

🏈Saints receive the Eagles’ 5th-round pick in 2023 and the worse of their two 6th-round picks in 2024.

Some confirmation from Twitter account of former NFL scout:

"Gardner-Johnson will be tasked with covering 1 hole, man-match, quarters, and carrying slot receivers/tight ends up the seam. With his speed the defense can also disguise more with Gardner Johnson able to get into position quickly. McLeod and Harris didn’t have the explosiveness or fluidity to do that last year"

This roster is niiiiiiiiiice.

No pressure on Hurts or anything, but he's surrounded by as complete a roster as you will find in the NFL. Get it done!

Trade: Eagles are sending WR Jalen Reagor to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a 2023 7th-round pick and a 2024 conditional 4th-round pick that would deescalate to a 5th-round pick if certain statistical marks are not met, sources tell ESPN.

So does this mean they're running with 4 WR's on the 53 man roster?

I mean that's as good of a WR unit as you can possibly ask for. Our #4 this season is better than our #2 was entering last season rofl. Love this depth, gotta be the deepest group I can ever remember seeing in my lifetime for the birds.

Maybe Deon Cain or Britain Covey some of the camp WR's that made a little noise could get elevated to the gameday roster some weeks. As of now they are all on the practice squad
