Component changes
  • EVGA SC GTX 680 > Galaxy GTX 680
  • Bitspower Acetal Fittings > EK-CSQ Fittings
  • Samsung SH-B123A Blue-ray burner
  • PrimoFlex Advanced LRT 3/8in ID x 1/2in OD Tubing Clear
  • Lamptron FC Controller

Galaxy GTX 680's currently on special for $449 while the EVGA SC is currently $529 - Can't go wrong with that price considering the coolers won't be used.
I've overused Bitspower fittings in the past, the newer CSQ EK fittings look nice and will fit my build.

Re-using my Lamptron FC Controller & Blue-ray drive :)

He probably had a GPU made by them, blew it up, and is avoiding it like the plague. Sort of like me to AMD GPUs.

I've heard stories about their RMA department, hopefully my cards won't go that far.
The savings on these cards too hard to pass up.

It's worse than most stories to be honest, just be sure to match whatever color TIM they use if you need to RMA them.

After months of running air-cooled builds, I've had enough of the noise, it's time to go back to water :)
No idea when this build is going to kick-off, need to get a clear picture in my head & work out my finances before committing.

Great thing about this build is the lack of case modding that is required, Test Benches have that advantage i guess.

Might notice some of the component's in this build where used in my TJ11 build, well that is now stripped down and sitting in bubble wrap in my garage. :o

HOW DARE YOU!!!! What would Nils say!? Or Guido!! Or B Negative!! Or LongRoadTrip!! OR ALL THE OTHER GUYS!!! TELL ME!!!!

Regardless. Test benches can be very fun. Those are some nice benches too and highly recommended so I hear. I like the easy version better. Looks more like a real bench imo. I was told they ship within a few days and the quality is unmatched. (Read this on OCN somewhere the other day.)

Besides WCing a test bench, have you though of using acrylic tubing? Might be fun... B)

I've got to ask, where did you get your desk? I've been looking for just a plain, flat, black desk and I have had no luck in finding one.
They all seem to have other additions and cabinets and whatnot.
