I’ve arranged an enclosed car carrier service to deliver my car to FL early August. Anyone have experience with collector car insurance? I’ve gotten two quotes so far and Hagerty seems to be the lowest. I’m going to try Grundy when I’m stateside (since I gotta call). Any other popular companies out there?

Hagerty is who i've always used. They just make it easy, have a fair (not cheap) price. and the unlimited mileage is also nice.

had a bunch of friends use grundy, no complaints from the guy that crunched up his cobra.

I have been hearing a lot of talk about Heacock. I don't know anything about them but a lot of the guys from Hagerty have been switching to them from what I've heard.

theres no issue with it. ill bring a 2wd dually with a toy hauler out to the dunes, park it for the weekend/4 day and then load up and drive it right out.

He didn’t even make it past the gate, he literally hit the first rutt and was stuck. He had no weight in the back and his tires weren’t deflated at all, dude got stuck quickly.

He turned around and left after we got him out. I told him it only gets worse out there.. Especially after you park, that’s when most people get stuck. The sand was pretty wet this weekend too, and the surf carved some pretty big drops, so if you didn’t pay attention your ass was digging out.
