this game is the epitome of bland, overated because of where it came from



while I'm not going to go on about how much I like those games(not so much the persona ones), they do certainly blow this crap out of the water

but that's not the only series that does, many others do

just started. way to get depressing right in the beginning. i mean come on ash's mom supported him the whole way.

in any case ever notice how in all jRPG's the kids either have 1 or no parents.

Just passed the trials. I fucking love this game. The gameplay reminds me of Pokemon/Final fantasy 12. It's definitely a great buy for anyone whom enjoys older RPGs.

i never said it's good because it's popular...I rented it and only a few hours in, I'm not blown away at all by it, but so far it's at least a step above most other JRPGs this gen. I haven't been a fan of JRPGs pretty much at all this gen. But anyhow, you're not really saying anything as to why the game is objectively flawed, besides using loaded words that every other person on these forums use when attempting to back up their personal opinion, such as "overrated" and subjective words like "boring".
Did you even play the game, really? It's lengthy as shit and it just came out, and somehow I have a feeling you just looked at it and decided to judge it.
