He's known to be a streaky, inconsistent player (lots of multi-point games, lots of no-show games). It won't be pretty if he doesn't put up the ~55 points he's been brought in for.

Subban’s off-ice life didn’t seem to be the cause for this, it was more his actual play and being a #4 at 9 million

He definitely didn't have his best year this past season but I doubt the majority see him as a #4. It wasn't too long ago that he was a top-10 D-man in the league.

I just don't see any other player of his pedigree/name-value going as cheaply.

Totally woulda risked his off ice issues no one knows for sure about and his potential for 9m cap than rumors of signing myers to like 7x7

Well he was #3-4 on preds is what I mean, his off-ice had nothing to do with the trade was the point. Everyone loved him there
