This, I'd say slight overpayment at most.

The 27th is a low 1st, obviously, and next year's 1st will likely be in the bottom 10, as well, and future picks are worth less in general.

Lehtera is about 2M overpaid, so they gave the up the second 1st for a 2 x 2 cap-dump.

future picks may actually be worth more if next year is a deeper draft then this year
and idk i feel like flyers since hextall came in and shook everything up have been having a much better at the drafting he truly believes in building from the draft up
considering how many high potential prospects we have that are hitting nhl ready status i cant complain about acquiring picks and prospects from them

lehtera might be overpaid but we can handle that np until the contract runs out and gives flyers more depth its not so bad for us
as for late 1st round picks... konecny was traded up for by flyers and taken at 24th and he looks like hes going to be great so

still going to miss schenn but im assuming they feel with patrick we can live without him



yeah but we got simmonds who is like better at all of those then schenn still so we good
