He lose his finder in an accident?

My uncle had something like that happen. Was trying to guide a piece of wood through a table saw with a little stick. Stick got sucked into the saw blade and took his finger with it, just like this guy.

Doesn't seem like a major injury though. Might affect your ability to grip a controller but that's about it.
