Was talking to my friend about this too. Its cuz hes hitting 4th why i think trouts still hitting 2nd.

Should be phillips, upton, trout, cron/calhoun, pujols, simmons.

Offense is en fuego tho my boys. We all knew the pitching would fade. That series loss to texas was the best loss ive ever seen. Need pitching to step up. Offense is great

I think Phillips/Trout/Upton/Cron would be ideal.

Cron could easily be a 35+ HR guy if he were to see 600AB

I think upton would get more to hit hitting in front of trout instead of in front of pujols. Trout can hit anything no matter whose behind him.

Edit: and cron is NOT a 35+ hr guy lol. Hes been on fire but no. 20-25 guy.

In 263ab he has 14. A lot of which were platooning which makes it hard for a guy to get a rhythm/routine down (look at a guy like Justin Smoak this season for instance).

Cron is without a doubt more valuable than Pujols and should hit higher in the order. As long as Pujols isn't hitting behind Trout, I'm happy

Smoak played like five seasons without platooning and didn't do shit lol. That's why he got platoond. This is his career year.

I know that lol. Maybe not the best example but he was the first player that came to my head

Maybe my hopes on Cron being a 35+ homer guy is a little farfetched but god damn fellas let me have high hopes!

I hope they resign upton but don't have the best track record recently lol

I thought it was up to Upton. Doesnt he have the option to either buy in for the remaining few years or opt out?
