That's exactly what I used to do when I was younger. Always go for the big hit, only ever hit it once, that was a £1 bet on all 10 prem matches for a £1200~ return. Never got close to covering losses.

These past 2-3 years I've just done big stakes for low odds. Definitely in the green over that period. Had £50 on that acca tonight at 12's. Nice £550 profit, and that pays for my new Dyson v8, boom boom.
