Luka is going to be special

Barnes was dreadful tonight, couldn't score, couldn't get rebounds that went right

While the Mavs obviously lack some star power, their supporting cast is starting to look real good, Maxi is a monster at center blocking shots and his 3pt shot starting to become consistent, and DFS's shot also looking great to go along with his solid wing D and rebounding. After this game I think I'm backing off the trade DSJ train for awhile if he keeps that up, he complemented Luka well for the time they shared the floor tonight. Also, Barnes is ASS.

Stars are going to be lining up to play with him. Figure Dirk is gone after this year so you can grab a stellar PF who can stretch the floor and let Deandre do what he does. Hopefully DSJ is going to grow up and actually show the world he cares and wants to be a professional

Well, I'm on the fence about DeAndre because he really can stink it up on defence, but if we can't replace him hopefully we can resign him for a coupla more years. I'm afraid I'm not as enthusiastic as you are with regards to drawing big names to Dallas, we haven't really been able to accomplish that with Dirk during most of his prime, but Luka being the godly playmaker that he is maybe certain types of good players will be drawn to that. Personally I'd like to see if we can swing a guy like Mirotic maybe.. And pray to God Barnes opts out or is shipped out before deadline.
