is there anyway to recover an old d2 account that expired just recently?

if you simply try to play on the character again , as long as nobody else took the name, you should still have the char and all items intact

After 90 days the account is unfortunately gone for good. I had to make a new account myself, since an old account of mine was inactive for more than 90 days.

If you're talking about characters, then they will be good so long as the name isn't taken.

I recently discovered that they delete accounts that have been inactive for 90 days, lost 4-5 mule accounts due to this..

As far as I know, accounts can't be recovered. So short answer would be, no you lost the account.

They have an eerie system tho, i had 10 accounts, after like 5 months, I logged in to diablo 2 and accounts 1,2 and 4 were gone whereas I could still use the rest. why?? why my first account ._.

Got to Blizzard office and tell them that you are going to kick their arse if they don't follw ur orders

Yeah, it's odd the way it works. Once, I was able to access an account that I haven't logged into for almost a year, and it worked. But another time, I was no longer able to access an account that was inactive for approximately 92 days.

I've had inactive accounts up for 2 years, but others have expired, so I can't say for sure how long it takes the account to dissapear :/

to answer your question: no, epired accounts are gone
