Nah I like the roster, but I'm over the players that vanish in the big games. Bergeron & Marchand are HUGE pieces to that. I love them, but they need to start getting some heat for it. They've been liabilities in the big games year after year.
2 years (of 1 rd) with Ullmark, shit himself both times, no thanks. Literally got benched for Swayman in both of them. And had PLENTY of goal support this year. & yes the defense was atrocious in front of him, the guy just didnt come thru at all. Heavily outshined by Bobrosky and LYON on BIG saves. How can anyone be comfortable with this dude in net? Rask haters awfully quiet rn.
Lindolm same thing, he goes from an amazing dman in the season to the worst dman on the team in playoffs, it's nutty. Give me a dman that struggles in the season and comes alive in the playoffs over him.
Being a contender year after year and coming up short over and over again, this isn't working. NHL or bust team cant be constantly eliminated in the 1st/2nd round with the same core players, especially this year.
2019 was great, but people need to accept the main reason they came up short
Peep Bergy & Marchand. I hate the say bad things about them, but Ive had it. Rask was unreal during 2019 run. 3rd line was amazing with Coyle & Johansson. 4th line was beast. 2023 roster >>>>>>>> 2019 one, big difference in net.
I dont hate the roster, but Im fed up about being a regular season warrior team. Either go deep or be a basement team
