Such was the feeling that Krejci seemed to convey when speaking with Miroslav Horák and isport.cz — noting that his stints with Pastrnak (especially on the second line) were regularly few and far between.
“Coach Cassidy rarely let the two of us play together,” Krejci told Horák (via Google Translate). “It had to be so that he split the first line and put Pasta to me. It was a maximum of two (games).
“Years later, I leave Boston and suddenly it is possible. That struck me. (Cassidy) always told me that there was no reason to take Pasta off the first line and that it would be as short as possible to distribute the forces. I had to take it. But now Pasta has five or so many (games) on the line with Taylor Hall and Erik Haula. Strange.”

100% on Krejci's side, it's very true.
Krejci has been stuck with 4th liners and AHL players since 2014(post-Iginla)
He's a playermaker with trash to pass to, I'd be pissed if I were him. He had Hall for like 20 games
Next best guy the past several years was DeBrusk maybe? & that's saying a lot

Also on the GM for doing a shit job for most of that time, not like the coach had a ton of good options.

Wouldn't be surprised if Krejci retired just 'cause he knew he'd have to drag around plugs another year on an average team and wasn't a big fan of the coach lol. He had more in the tank for sure.

I'm confident the Bruins have the worst gm in SPORTS
He walked into a job with 4 superstars under $7m contracts + was gifted Hall

Krejci was done dirty for years, I don't blame him for retiring, would love if he joined for the 2nd half of the season
2nd line center is Boston's key missing piece and it's showing
