I'd assume so
The combination of Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, and Rob Williams has the best defensive rating in the league among the 53 five-man lineups which have logged at least 100 minutes.
That particular group has now recorded 174 minutes together and has allowed just 91.3 points per 100 possessions. By comparison, the best defensive team in the league – the Golden State Warriors – has allowed 102.4 points per 100 possessions.
I think they've only been together for 13? games so far with a 9-4? record I think. Something like that.
Marcus Smart
Two or fewer 3-pointers: 5-2
10 or more 3-pointers: 1-3
or
Five or fewer 3PA: 18-12
Six or more 3PA: 4-6
Need to find a way to swap Smart for playmaking 3 pt shooter
Or just find a way to control his shooting and limit it to a few wide open ones a game. He thinks he’s Steph curry out there with step backs and what not. Surprisingly, these are the ones he usually hits and misses the wide open ones….
If he knew his limitations, like Romeo does, we would win so many more games
Love that defense stat though. It’s clearly not our problem. Our biggest issue is outside shooting, and if Tatum and Brown play the way they have the last few games, it goes a long way to rectifying that
I think we can have a huge 2nd half of the season imo
