Jaylen wants the NBA to allow more messages on the players jerseys

“Inequality by design” on a jersey made from China?

Good thing Tatum is a rich man's Otto Porter.

Another hilarious bad take by voyaging.

He's a very good player, but it's hard to tell how much of it is Stevens system and his team's depth, which gets the most out of guys and doesn't push them too hard out of their comfort zone.

As is, there generally is no debate if Tatum is a real all-star. Personally I don't see the superstar potential. I’m thinking Paul Pierce as a ceiling

Thanks for the laugh buddy lol.

First time I've ever heard someone say Tatum is a system player. LOL! Tatum's 53% of his 3P shots are all unassisted. What does that tell you?

It's only his 3rd year, would you have said the same for Giannis taking that MVP leap? And if you say yes, I call bullshit on that bro lol.

And finally, Paul Pierce may not have been the traditional superstar like Kobe/Dirk/Wade/Shaq in that sense, but he's most certainly been one of the most underrated/underappreciated players. He is by all means, semantics aside, maybe not a superstar, but the closest definition you'll get in my book.

Scored over 25,000 PTS, has the most game winners/clutch games decided by him, (even more than MJ) and is the 2nd leading scorer of Celtics history. Averaging over 20 PPG over 18 seasons?

The only blemish is the fact that he never hit All NBA 1st team, but you know what? I'll say actually winning the Finals MVP trumps that in my opinion.

But anyways moving on.

It's been proven that guys have better defensive metrics in Boston i.e. Rozier, Morris, Horford, Baynes, IT etc over the past few years under Stevens and comparing the departed players stats on their new team.

So why is it crazy to say that Steven's has a system that players thrive in? Crediting Stevens as an elite coach shouldn't be taken as an insult, neither should crediting the Celtics for having good depth. my argument is simply that Tatum's defense is a touch overrated right now. He can shoot the lights out and he was having a terrific streak, let's see what he'll bring in the bubble.

I was impressed with his chemistry w/ Jaylen Brown. Honestly I'm not yet convinced Tatum will be firmly better than Brown, 3 years from now it could be either of them.

I'm the biggest Brown stan you'll ever see, but even I can admit Tatum is better than Brown. At like almost everything except as you mentioned finishing and scoring eFG% which can be attributed to the fact that he's a 3rd option, and has less offensive responsibility.

Either way, I'm excited to see what both can achieve together.
