He's a very good player, but it's hard to tell how much of it is Stevens system and his team's depth, which gets the most out of guys and doesn't push them too hard out of their comfort zone.
As is, there generally is no debate if Tatum is a real all-star. Personally I don't see the superstar potential. I’m thinking Paul Pierce as a ceiling
Thanks for the laugh buddy lol.
First time I've ever heard someone say Tatum is a system player. LOL! Tatum's 53% of his 3P shots are all unassisted. What does that tell you?
It's only his 3rd year, would you have said the same for Giannis taking that MVP leap? And if you say yes, I call bullshit on that bro lol.
And finally, Paul Pierce may not have been the traditional superstar like Kobe/Dirk/Wade/Shaq in that sense, but he's most certainly been one of the most underrated/underappreciated players. He is by all means, semantics aside, maybe not a superstar, but the closest definition you'll get in my book.
Scored over 25,000 PTS, has the most game winners/clutch games decided by him, (even more than MJ) and is the 2nd leading scorer of Celtics history. Averaging over 20 PPG over 18 seasons?
The only blemish is the fact that he never hit All NBA 1st team, but you know what? I'll say actually winning the Finals MVP trumps that in my opinion.
But anyways moving on.
