Playing by far the best ball of his career, and it all starts with his defense. Everyone on the team knows who's guarding the opposing teams best player. He is feeding off of his defense. Such a beauty.
I just love the aggression he has been playing with lately. He knows nobody can stay in front of him and he is taking full advantage of it.
Other than the FT%.....this is why he got paid $300 million.

This team can reach another level as soon as Tatum stops playing his hero ball. It's amazing when the shots are dropping, but the sacrifice must be made because that isn't required at all with this team.

Oh and Al Horford. Such a beast.

Dunno if Tatum is playing hero ball. He will always have his iso posessions, especially late in the clock, but he’s make excellent offensive reads and passes, finding open players. Career high average in assists and had at least 10 against the Suns that didn’t result in buckets.

But JB is playing exceptionally atm. My god his free throws are frustrating though. When was the last time he made a pair? I swear he misses more pairs than he actually makes, no?

I tried to tell that JB was playing incredible defense this season, but he didn't wanna believe it. He said JB sucks defensively rofl.

It's only a matter of time until Jayson Tatum hero iso ball ends this majestic run that the Celtics are on. Everyone knows it too.

I literally agreed he’s playing insanely good on ball defense. The best of his career. The only thing I added was that he sometimes gets lost off ball, and refuses to box out.

Probably tongue in cheek after being sick of his effort given his salary.

He’s always been a good on ball defender, but does get lost off ball. He allows a lot of cuts and wide open shots because he ball watches and overhelps constantly. Perfect examples of this are the nuggets games on Jokic, or that 76ers playoff game where he overhelped and left Harden wide open for the clutch corner 3. These moments are burned into my memory forever. He has been better lately though for sure.

As for offensively, he was pretty damn bad up until all star game. But he’s been one of the best players in the league since then. Still at terrible FT shooter, but at least he’s money from everywhere else.
