More Ian Rapoport Retweeted Ian Rapoport

More clarity on our story on #Jaguars players being arrested in London a few nights ago: Barry Church was among the 4 players involved in the incident but the only one not actually arrested. London Police confirmed none were charged and the matter was “resolved."

Four Jacksonville Jaguars players were involved in an incident at a London nightclub resulting in three of them being detained by police before being released, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per several sources.

The three players detained were safety Ronnie Harrison, cornerback D.J. Hayden and safety Jarrod Wilson, Rapoport added. Safety Barry Church was involved but not detained by police.

"We are aware that four of our players were detained over restitution of a bill," the Jaguars said in a statement acquired by NFL.com. "The matter is being resolved and the players are with the team. Any discipline will be handled internally."

The team did not confirm which players were involved in the incident.

The players went to a club on Friday night, were sent bottles of champagne and other high-end liquors and ran up a huge bill, sources told Rapoport. The players believed that the bottles were comped, but instead they were on their bill. When the bill arrived, the players refused to pay it, believing that it was not what they owed. An argument ensued and local police made several arrests.

None of the players were charged and the matter was resolved. They were released without any further action taken, London Police said in a statement Sunday morning.

"The bill has been paid and the matter has been resolved. Team has said discipline will be handled internally," NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported Sunday morning.

The Jaguars arrived in London on Friday morning. Jacksonville plays the Philadelphia Eagles at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. The game will be broadcast on NFL Network.

Not a way you want to lead into a game that was a couple days away, but pretty minor in the big picture of things. Pretty dumb though.

Wouldn't be the first time a country/area tried to take advantage of outsiders/tourists. It happens all of the time.

This loss falls on the Coaches, especially the OC. I don't even remember how many 2nd and 1, 2nd and 2, 3rd and 2, 4th and 1 etc etc, we had and they throw the fucking ball.

They handed the ball to the RBs a grand total of 8 times....... 8 fucking times... Are you serious right now? Why give a 5th round pick for Hyde, sit him for a game because "you want to get him up to speed (he's a fucking RB.. give him the ball and let him run)", then you only give him the ball 6 times... What?

The #Jaguars just dropped back to pass on 31 consecutive plays in essentially a one run game. Someone will have to explain that to me. They have not run it since handing to TJ Yeldon with 6:09 left in the third quarter. #ASJax

Yup... Pathetic.

Not that the #Jaguars needed another injury on defense, but: CB Quenton Meeks, who started on Sunday, suffered an MCL sprain and is expected to miss time, source said. He’s having tests to determine how much. The injury came on a cut block by #Eagles TE Dallas Goedert.

Was dirty as all fuck also. A TE needing to cut block a CB? Fuck out of here with that bull shit.

🚨🚨🚨 TRADE 🚨🚨🚨

We have traded DE Dante Fowler to the Rams in exchange for a 2019 third-round pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick.

No way we could have resigned him after this season. Would have only gotten 1 comp pick if we let him walk.

Rams going all in on a 8 game rental. That Defense and team just got better, scary.

He was basically a DPR for us this season playing behind Ngakoue. Great to have someone like him coming off the bench, but he was gone in 8 games.

We got Ramsey, Ngakoue and Jack (all 3 from the 2016 draft class) who will be getting paid soon. Both Ramsey and Ngakoue are going to be expensive. We're already like -$7 mil on the cap and there's no way we could afford Fowler as well.

Good trade for both teams imo. We got an extra pick for him and you guys had a need for an Edge guy in your pursuit for the Superb Owl this season. Talented player if he can keep his head on straight. Should see plenty of 1 v 1 playing alongside Donald, Suh and Brockers.

I don't see the "head on straight" being an issue. There haven't been personality issues yet, like everyone predicted.

Can't wait to see what he can do on the field with those 3. It's going to be pretty nasty if it pans out.
