seems like twarinsky and bunnaman made the roster
morin made it myers did not


not at all who i expected to see i exepcted frost/farabee or vorbyov and maybe rubtsov to fight for some spots


in the behind the glass it sounded like they like gabriels play but he got hurt

going to have a fairly stacked ahl team this year though i think
frost/farabee/ratcliff/rubtsov/vorbyov/laberge/sushko/strome/myers/sandstrom then maybe twary/bunnaman sent back down when patricks back


looking like one of the deeper ahl teams ive seen flyers produce with lots of prospects turning 20 for this season
not even just lots of prospects fairly high quality of prospects most of those are 1st and 2nd rounders with a couple solid looking later picks

so we were rolling with 11 forwards due to cap and injury issues and a lot of people thought the farabee move was temporary... seems thats not the case
apparently pitlick is good to go so hes our 12th forward and fletcher said he feels the best spot for farabee would be ahl where he can get lots of toi


man im kinda pumped to see how our ahl team does this season though with farabee sent down there looking seriously deep with prospects and some are really close to cracking nhl
its actual developing prospects not just a team of 25-35 year olds that likely never crack the nhl roster like it has been for soooo long

like look at this roster thats going to be playing aged 20-23 except farabee hes 19

just another thought we still have some injuries like patrick and maybe gabriel when they get back we likely see bunnaman or twaryinski sent back down making the ahl team even stronger with more prosepcts
gabriel isnt a lock for nhl but in the "behind the glass" sounded like he was making the roster until he got hurt

I think Fletcher deserves so much more blame than he is receiving for the cap issues we have going into this season causing us to not be able to put the best team possible on the ice to open the season.

yeahhh im not too big on the moves he made
niskanen for 2 years seems iffy specially when you see guys like trouba and barrie get moved its like those are players he should have targeted if he wanted a top 4 RHD not nisky+braun
and braun i dont mind braun if he plays in the top 4 but if he brought him in and hes a 3million 3rd pair guy knocking myers into the ahl its like ... we coulda probably went without

then hayes is overpaid but lets see how he does maybe its not so bad i figure he woulda got 6-6.5 area anyways so whats an extra 500k a year

but really we got like 6 ELC players on the roster and are against the cap ceiling... lol how do you manage that ...this team better fucking win


honestly i lost faith in this team once ES died and paul holmgren and a a comcast ceo became the owners because holmgren never knew wtf he was doing and the first thing he did after getting promoted was fire the one guy who did in hextall


and isnt fletcher the guy that put the wild in cap troubles with parise and suter? seems like the guy just loves to overpay for free agents
