I think the bigger concern is getting more pressure on the QB/limiting teams from running the ball down the heart of the D.
I'd second this. Pat's did fine with pedestrian players on offense and a strong + complete defense for decades. They never were afraid to throw draft capital or money at top defenders to keep the team in contention. Something GB was okay with last year, but definitely not this season.
I don't want to quote a redditor, but there was a good point made about us doing just enough to do damage in the division, make the playoffs and maybe win a game or two, but we have no business being in the Super Bowl. Not adding anything at all before the deadline and LaFleur telling the press that the front office and he "We're on the same page" shows you the ceiling of this team.
