should have signed AB

That would of been a low risk move with huge upside. To bad he went to TB.

Wouldn’t really say AB is low risk though. I think once Lazard is back, we are still a force offensively.

Maybe some veteran WR’s get released and we bring one in. I think a guy like Ted Ginn who the Bears just released would be an improvement over MVS. (deep ball threat)

I think the bigger concern is getting more pressure on the QB/limiting teams from running the ball down the heart of the D.

I'd second this. Pat's did fine with pedestrian players on offense and a strong + complete defense for decades. They never were afraid to throw draft capital or money at top defenders to keep the team in contention. Something GB was okay with last year, but definitely not this season.

I don't want to quote a redditor, but there was a good point made about us doing just enough to do damage in the division, make the playoffs and maybe win a game or two, but we have no business being in the Super Bowl. Not adding anything at all before the deadline and LaFleur telling the press that the front office and he "We're on the same page" shows you the ceiling of this team.

They disabled Helshavir already? That was quick.

How's he not low risk? His contract is incentive based and has a base salary. If he acts up he gets cut.

He would have 1 chance obviously. That's why his deal is incentive based so his guaranteed money is so low it's a small cap cut.

Yeah it's not bad, but if they weren't bringing in even a warm body that's caught an NFL pass, being upset that Brown didn't get a look seems pointless.

Might be a really well-designed contract for nothing. Guy has been a stellar disappointment in the last couple years after being the most underrated WR in the league for years.

I'm not upset about not getting Brown. Its disappointing that they didnt improve the WR position the last 2 years. The player with the 2nd most receiving yards on the team is Robert Tonyan. Hes had a decent year for what's expected but that's not how they are going to win a superbowl with Tonyan being the 2nd leading receiver. Also it's not guarantee Adam's stays healthy. He missed 4 games last year and already 2 games this year. What if he gets hurt again?
