Well, it has always been common knowledge that Zizou's only other great managerial ambition is coaching France, and that he really loves his life in Madrid, so it's not that surprising if he refuses a job at Old Trafford to wait out for a vacancy in the French national team after the WC. He can conveniently work most of the time from his Madrid residence too.

yeah he’s not coming. if varane and cristiano can’t convince him then it’s a no go

like you said france squad he only has to go there for training and travel for games.

i’m fine with poch, just would be bizarre for him to quit p$g right now

Pochettino signed an 18 month contract at PSG in January. He has like 7 months left on it, it'll expire after this current season.
He failed to win the league and failed to win the CL. In the eyes of PSG, he's a failure. I think they want a bigger name and I think Pochettino loves it in England.
He had one shit season at Tottenham and they all burn him for it.

The Board at yanited are so incompetent they are putting the guys that poorly coached the team in charge as the interim management team

How hard would it have been to sack Solskjaer, Carrick, Phelan and McKenna after the Liverpool game and get in Conte/Ten Haag/Poch before the end of the international break. So funny to watch this play out

Man Utd might not thank me, but get the contract out put it on the table & let him sign it, let him write whatever numbers he wants, let him sign the contract. Carrick’s at the wheel man!

who even is a realistic option?

pochettino still has a contract at psg and said he's happy there, conte was appointed just recently, so it seems rather unlikely he'd sign with united.

ten hag has been rumoured at many big clubs looking for a new manager (bayern amongst others), but he seems to enjoy coaching ajax quite a lot - still, if united went all in of him i'm sure they could make him an offer he simply can't refuse.
i heard rumours about ernesto valverde as interim manager, but i'm not sure if that even makes much sense, assuming that he probably doesn't even speak english (maybe i'm wrong about that, it's just that most spanish managers don't).

what about nuno santo? has his unsuccessful stint at tottenham disqualified him as a big club manager? otherwise he might be a decent fit, considering he knows the league, and generally comes across as reasonably competent.

maybe someone who hasn't been mentioned yet? villas-boas, koeman, fonseca, lampard (lol, just kidding)...?

oh sure - completely slipped my mind. unironically a realistic option, if he's willing to leave leicester. that is if united don't mind his liverpool history, but considering he's not exactly a club legend there, and only a former manager, not a player, i wouldn't think that's too big of an issue, right?
