Sux Alvin couldn't get a top 6 winger for Petey, but considering the situation I'm fine with it. He didn't give up Walliander, hogs etc.

Lindholm should mesh better once the Canucks start their 9 game home stand with a lot of practice time in btwn.

Suter - Miller - boeser
Hoglander - Petey - mikheyev
Joshua - lindholm - garland
PDG - Blueger - lafferty/pods

Most likely the forwards lineup.

Wouldnt mind the lotto line once in a while either

Miller - Petey - boeser
Hoglander - lindholm - mikheyev
Joshua - blueger - garland
PDG/pods - Suter - lafferty

if Mik stops skating in cement and Podz keeps going hard we're looking pretty deep up front

We do have a lot of "if"s, we'll see how things work out.

If Pods keeps going and Mikheyev and Lindholm get their heads out of their asses we'll be good. If not, it'll be tough.

Wish we could have added a forward because Suter in our top-6 does not instill confidence.

Also can't believe how solid Soucy is. And no surprise the defense has been fine without Tyler "but who will eat his minutes?!?!?!" Myers

love how you're still on about that lol

This is the first time in a long time Alvin managed to get several NHL dmen on the roster, with juulsen being the only fringe guy for 1 spot. Hence Myers has the lowest TOI on avg in his career.
Rolling with fringe NHLers for 3-4spots doesn't give him that luxury.
how's that stetcher guy u thought was a top 4 dman in nhl doing?? can't believe several nhl teams and coaches aren't seeing what luler sees tsktsk

Gonna need a receipt ;)

I always liked Stecher, and he's been a valuable contributor wherever he's played. I definitely would have kept him over some of the D-men Benning chose to retain over him, especially at the low cost he comes at, that's for damn sure lol.

5-on-5 offense has dried up pretty much since Joshua was injured and we lost that 3rd line punch. He's back soon, so hopefully they can recapture that magic.

Lindholm may still contribute but it looks like it'll be more a defensive support player than someone we can count on for secondary scoring. Apparently his injury may be one that isn't going to heal til the summer so that doesn't help lol

If it continues like this, we'll have to grind out playoff wins and I don't know if we have the players nor the experience to do that.

Joshua back at practice in regular jersey. Lindholm isn't even there, which makes sense considering they moved Demko to IR to create cap to call up Bains to replace him.
If the rumor is true that Lindholm could be done for the year, he's the worst rental ever lol. He turned down 8 or 9m AVV right? Doubt he gonna sign for like 7 or less with the Canucks.
Sucks Tocchet broke up Joshua - Blueger- Garland line, might be temporary if these lines below don't work though.

Don't think I heard anything about Lindholm being done, just being day to day. Either way not concerned about him as long as gets some warm up games before the playoffs.
