Threw the game. 1/7 on the powerplay. gave up a short handed goal and were taken of the powerplay twice after taking a penalty.

Pretty obvious that needs to get fixed. Managed to lose to 2 players. Mcdavid and Draisaitl going for 130 points.

Agreed but wasn't very good last night unfortunately.

This defense is obviously bad, god help us in any game that Hughes isn't feeling it.


Overall this is probably how our season is going to go, we are built this way.

Enough forward talent and depth to score but most of the same forwards are weak and soft defensively and our defense as a whole is simply not good enough.

In some games we will outscore our problems, against some teams we will be able to overpower with firepower, but then there will also be games like these where we melt down against elite talent.


I think the powerplay will be fine in the long run, just a lot of talent out there especially with the addition of Kuzmenko. The PK though... not so sure. Hopefully Mikheyev will help.
