Hughes seems to feast on LA kings, as the sedins feasted on Edmonton Oilers lol
Last season games against the kings and this game shows his best performances in his short nhl career
great game, but Canucks still need to be better. They should not have been outshot so heavily, if Kings had an elite goalie the score wouldn't be as it indicates haha
hopefully the team doesnt get too comfortable after this win, needs to be far better to even think about playoffs tbh.

i remember the time when Sutter was actually one of the "fastest" player on the Canucks. How things have massively changed lmao.

also,
Doughty on an 8-2 loss to Vancouver: "A team like that should not be beating us like that"
LOL he's salty af, i guess he still thinks his team is dominant when they won cups and stuck in the past.. hahah

Doughty has been mad for years lol.

He talks big for a guy who was -34 last year haha.

canucks need to find a new powerplay coach, the powerplay is just too terrible. It's early in the season, but i've already seen enough lol the drop pass is like beating the dead horse, it should be used only when it's like the last resort.. not like their #1 game plan.. especially when you got players like Hughes or way more players capable of getting the pucks in safely. In the past, we had no choice to drop pass because not many canuck can bring it into the zone... but now... pls no more. it's painful to watch

No surprise early on, Quinn Hughes has been dominant.

61.82 SCF% - 7th

Well that was quite the homestand. 16 scored 5 against 3-0 and miller ep and brock all getting going along with all that scoring from the D. Stl will be an awesome test.

only complain I have is I think that Ferland is dragging Bo down. Pearson has been great but really need Ferland to do more than brush up against opponents then contribute nothing to possession.

and since I shat on him before, props on Sutter for being wonderful on the PK

yeah idk wtf Ferland is up to, but he was terrible. There was a shift where he had 3 turnovers in a row lol.
Kinda feared he was gonna be another 3rd/4th line plug if he didn't click with petey/boeser.. RIP.

so wait

your defender interferes with thomas and knocks him in to demko, but thomas gets the penalty

the blues bitch about the penalty and get a 2nd penalty to give a 5 on 3 for 2 whole minutes that leads to the tying goal?

makes sense

Was wondering how that 2nd penalty came about.

If that is what caused it I would say that was heavy handed given the score and time left in the game.
