didn't look too good tonight but Markstrom held the fort and the boys up front punished the early mistakes by the Oilers pretty hard. bizarre that they looked like the better coached team but the Canucks were the more skilled ones.

Feels good after losing the 1-0 game vs Winnipeg despite controlling large portions of the game in addition to registering over 40 shots.

This was a game we did not deserve but still got the W

It is nice when the crossbars and posts go your way.

Going to have to be a better overall game going forward though.

In most cases that is not enough to get the job done.

Was an easy win against mcdavid + refs.
Its pretty clear the refs are going after Lolnucks harder than usual cos Green called them out on their shitty calls prior to the holidays.

NHL should be ashamed to have these officials reffing their league, it's more hilarious that the oilers are so bad that the refs didn't get the result they wanted

Virtanen had a great game, despite not scoring. Omg I literally lold when he was playing D and when he realized it was larsson, he went full yolo and stripped the puck out of him for a 2on1

Yeah, it's pitiful league-wide. Kind of like the hold called on the Avs last night, but missing the boarding happening at the same time.

i'd say 5. It really depends on the oilers, rather than the canucks.
Canucks went through a 10+ game losing streak, and i think they won once in their 15 or some shit like that + huge void left by sedins retirement + bunch of youngsters w/ shit D, yolo goaltending is somehow ahead of the oilers is mind blowing. The fact that they're not like Kings/Yotes bottom feeding is surprising too.
Meanwhile, the Oilers are on year 20 on their rebuild, and has a generational talent in McDavid struggling to be at the top of the league despite all them 1st overalls.
hockey fans are being robbed as fuckkkkkkk i'd rather see McDavid hit 150+pts instead of the 1man team show im watching right now. Trade him for another Larsson and history will be made.
