The Los Angeles Lakers are in advanced talks on a trade to acquire Utah Jazz guard Patrick Beverley for Talen Horton-Tucker and Stanley Johnson, sources tell ESPN. Deal could be finalized as soon as Thursday.

They must have a backup deal ready for Westbrook or something, no way they expect this to work with them both on the roster this season.

Tht is garbage though. He's a worse shooter than Westbrook.

Biggest mistake was paying him instead of Caruso.

Why? This move is a fit for westbrook/Irving. Beverly can guard on or off ball so they can hide which ever point guard they have because they are brutal defensively. Beverly isn't going to play a lot of minutes. He'll probably only play 20-25 minutes on average so they will easily fit on the roster together. Likely means they won't be signing Schroder but at least the moved THT's contract.
