The Lakers are interested in re-signing both Dwight Howard and Markieff Morris, via @BA_Turner.

Would love to have them both back, Dwight put up good minutes all season and Morris was a perfect fit against smaller lineups, the series against the Rockets felt so much more in control when Morris and Rondo started putting up some huge runs.

McGee picked up his player option even though the past few days it sounded like he was going to FA. It would be good if they can get Howard back and have the same duo playing center again next year.

Yeah I agree. Wouldn’t mind bringing in a stretch 5 though. I know AD can fill that role but in the event McGee/Howard get hurt it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have an additional big. (assuming Dwight resigns, he’s expressed interest in staying in LA).
