She isn't too useful in teamfights, but she can chase people down like a bouss usually finishing off fleeing carries and such.
Which will, if doing it properly, give you like 2-3 kills in a teamfight but also a death in most cases.

Akali already puts out crazy burst without a sheen the second she hits level 6, if you're waiting until the laning phase(which is where the belt helps more than sheen) is over to begin killing with akali, you're doing it wrong

Akali is anti everything

shes an anti carry like poppy or irelia, her goal is to pick off the squishys

getting sheens is almost always the best thing to rush on her

Not really; her burst damage is already way high and getting a revolver over sheen can be good in so many situations.
