So I heard they will only make up the cancelled Miami/Atlanta game if it means playoffs or not for the marlins.

Can they even do that?

I've never heard of a team not playing 162 games (inb4 like 100 links to teams that didn't play 162).. but I guess they can if they're saying it.. sounds weird to me.

I had really wondered why we did this and it made no sense to me at the time.. but after reading this article I agree.
Seeing Jair Jurrjens, Tommy Hanson, Mike Minor.. all rise super fast and supposed to be aces in the league.. to just watching them fizzle out and disappear from the game..
Too many young stud arms on the roster right now to take that chance. Article doesn't mention Foltynewicz, but I think he has the highest ceiling of any pitcher on our roster.
