where i can found info about gambling in classic?

- Which is the formula for determine the chance to get exceptionsl items?
- All affixes can spawn on a item via gambling or some of them are limited to items dropped by monsters (i.e. 200% enhanced damage) ?

You don't have any exceptional weapons that you can gamble, so gambling weapons is stupido.
And no none of the mods are limited, they can all spawn as long as you have enough Charlvl to satisfy the Ilvl required on a item to get a certain modification.

I think its possible to gamble nm upgrades of items but its rare. So its just waste of gold.

hmm, well if your going to gamble.. rings/ammys/boots are your best items you can really go for.. but lets say your only lvl 45+? if your that low lvl and have a bunch of extra IGG just gamble boots.. you can get pretty much every mod thats worth anything at that level.. you can get 30/10 tri res boots.. last ladder i had gotten 20frw 7dex 3x3x4x boots gambling on my level 65..

the best levels to gamble certain items from a vendor are always the levels where you can get the desired stats a 100% of the time, since the price increases less than 10% per level i think.

here some examples:
-Belt 25strreq 3 rows: Lvl 69 char for 100% chance of required itemlevel for +20str
-Sash no strreq 2 rows: Lvl 64 char for same chance

if u can accept 15 str max or life only you can ofc go lower levels (PM me if u need to know anything from that department).

-Boneshield: prism @ lvl 53 (+2 pal = lvl 79)
-Rings: dont gamble before lvl 73 (= 40life) since the price is fixed.
-Amus: lvl 86 is only 10% chance on itemlevel that is needed for +2 mod (ilvl 90). with every further level the chance increases by 10 percent (lvl 95=100%). since amus have a fixed price alot of ppl gamble amus from lvl 90 or even 89. first botter now has lvl 95 euscl... kinda ruins the competition for legit players when it comes to gambled amus. infinite gold + infinite xp 4tw @ gambling... but sry OT
