It's actually a smart business strategy.
Its much more exciting watching a fight with a hard rivalry, lots of hate/trash talk, and it feels like there's more on the line than just wealth or a title, it also becomes about respect, and a hero v. villain story.
I remember the Till v. Thompson fight with friendly knuckle bumps every minute and it got incredibly old.
I understand that at the end of the fight, but during? Come on. It felt like watching sparring.
It's really the same strategy WWE uses with heels.
Do I want the douchebags to win? Sometimes just because it makes the sport more interesting.
Like Colby, do you really think everything he says is what he really feels? Hell no. It's publicity.
