I think Monster666 is an idiot for many reasons. and I don't expect him to know what abnormal road conditions would be. What can I say.. Cali drivers = win.

amazingly firefox allows me to have multiple tabs up so while I do my reading for my homework and talk to people on facebook I can spend 30 seconds reading your post and responding clearly wasting a huge portion of my day

Not really.

Company wise I know off the top of my head that JL makes a shallow mount, as well does Rockford Fosgate (P3S). Since I know you have Rockfords, the P3S is prolly best for you.

I LOVE the shallow JLs.. The design is immaculate. But for the price, the Rockford shallows are a good bang for your buck.

I am also buying a 10" shallow monster. Probably rockford because they make a mustang fitted box in the trunk and I want as much room as i can get.

ya the ps3s are shallow mounts

just sucks how much performance you lose using the shallow mounts ><

my P1s now have better performance than the entire new lineup they have out right now : /

I wouldn't waste your time with a shallow mount unless you are in a single cab truck take up the extra square foot for the 5x better sound imo

my left ear is going bad from my current system, so i'm almost eliminating bass. keeping everything except my 13.5"w7 and my JL audio 1000w amp and the custom box. I really like JL's shallow. The performance is great too. My mustang's trunk is SO tiny, it's pathetic.
