He has the athletic ability for sure, he wasnt used in a traditional edge rusher role in georgias defensive scheme. So its up to whichever team is drafting him to develop him the right way, its definitely a gamble, he's likely a true boom or bust player.

Walker is an absolute freak of nature athletically. Dude that size shouldn't be able to move like he does. Not just in a straight line either. He was very fluid in all of the drills at the combine. He doesn't move like somebody who's 6'5 275.

Like Vas said above, they didn't use him much as a traditional edge rusher, but they moved him around quite a bit on that DL. Inside and outside, dropped him into coverage, lots of back side run contain.

Soo Lions cut Tom kennedy, Jarrad Davis, and Devin Funchess. Part of the biz. I thought davis was a machine all over the field. Terrible cut imo. Guys got a motor woulda been good to have on 2nd down to make 3rd and long.

Kennedy was productive but needs dots in 1st string coverage during the season.
