I just recently started up a BF sin and am split 17 different directions when it comes to gear.
I'll probably only get as high as level 72, so keep that in mind.
So far, my inclinations are to stick with the following

Beast ethereal axe
Goblin toe boots
Gloves- unknown
Dwarf
Raven Frost
Ammy - unkown
2nd weap - jade talon?
switch - demon limb (enchant)
Helm - guillames face
Armor - enigma

My skill build is also open to suggestion
20 DS
20 Venom
20 Fade
20 Shadow Master (or warrior, undecided)

Keep in mind, this is a primarily PVM build.

Merc:
offensive might
Kelpie Snare spear: 75% Slows Target, fire resist, and HP boost – upgrade to elite with runes
Tal Rasha's Mask helm: 10% life leech and 15% Resist-All
Duriel's Shell armor: 20% Resist-All, HP boost, and Cannot Be Frozen
act 2 offensive

I could really use some collective agreement on weapons, ect.
I've heard stormlash and crescent moon cryptic swords are also contendors.
Also a shield possibility?

it is a terrible skills for pvp and not nearly as effective as other things pvm

death in a legendary mallet could be good ds cb good damage

Lol I want to make the best BF sin I can, with the knowledge that their exist other, better, spammed classes and builds.

I messed around a whole bunch with a few different setups, and I found this one to be the best for pvm due to the inclusion of death sentry and 100% cb, 93% ds on those blades. Essentially itd to all monsters with the conviction present and attention paid to AR. Ar is the most important factor when making sure bfury is win or fail from my experiences.

She's dominating pvm. Screen clears in seconds.

Gface helm -40%ed
Fort Boneweave
Lanceguard 40%ed jeweled.
Gores
Trang gloves (dracs in stash )
Tgods
1ravenfrost
1dwarfstar
Death Zerker

Switch wep Lacerator for the Amp damage (-100% enemy res!)
Switch shield spirit.

Metalgrid ammy for the AR.

Infinnity might merc
Fires res- ias jewel
Treachery Armor (+2 for my venom and shadow to cast at game start)

20 venom
20 bladefury --Super important. Adds a TON of damage.
20 death sentry
4 kick dtalon

23 free points remain.

100%cb 93%ds

Why Lanceguard? It lets you get away with not using Highlords for the ds so that you can use metal grid with its massive ar, def and res. A shield with deadly strike, life , fhr ? =hax
Why not Phnx?, redemption kills death sentry. Bfury gets those first corpses very fast, and rips thru bosses.The Death Sentry then clears the screen.PVP shield, not pvm.

yeah that one is better for pvp, without the cb its nefer kill speed.

If your pvp'ing then this is the wat to go, but if your pvm, mine's alot better, I get 100% cb on every star. My damage is just as good and "every" star is deady stricking. Adding to bfury ups your damage a ton. My ar is also much higher. In addition to that, mines alot more durable with is better res and tri sorb.

blade fury is just a horrid skill for many reason

1. low dmg (even if you use an eth cruel war fist)
2. i don't have facts or figures for this, just from experience w/ sins, there's a delay before they fire and after you stop firing before your sin can do anything like tele or run away
3. low ar (gl hitting paladonks)
4. slow attack, people just can run out of the line of fire of them and attack you.
