If your idea of sick would be paying a bottom-pairing D-man likely twice what he's worth, then yeah, that'd be sick. glhf

he logged ice time close to what methot did, 17-21 minutes a night.
Methot made 4.9mil.
Being a defensive d-man =/= being a bottom pair d-man.
Ofc being a UFA will mean he's over paid but methot already was too then.

We're still shopping Phaneuf, I don't see the point in it now that we already lost Methot.

I'm pretty sure Dorion wants to sign a defenseman is FA or something. Clearing his contract if we can I guess. Stone is gone from Calgary now that they got Hamonic, he might come to Ottawa
