yeah they play better as a team without him, with him on the ice they focus on getting him the puck, the bruins know that and defend accordingly and we generate nothing, keep him out best game

They've generated literally nothing without hi. Only Willie as usual comes thru. Tyhhey just gotta defend the way they did and they'll have a shot.

this idea that matthews somehow makes the team worse is ludicrous. Based on a 2 game sample size they played better than usual. Compared to a whole season sample of scoring almost a goal per game.
Bruins will make adjustments. If matthews is out of the lineup I doubt they'll win this game
