Babcock did have an invincible sort of reputation that shielded him from normal criticism, so there might be more suppressed resentment coming out in the future.

Look up their past history, commodore has held a grudge since Babcock benched him in the minors and he blames him for ending his nhl career 9 years later when Babcock healthy scratched him again in Detroit.
He’s made statements like hoping Babcock gets hit by a truck.
Commodore was just a trash player and a piece of human shit.
