I’d be happy enough if those 6 teams will be top7 at the end of the season, as those are probably the ones that can represent Germany international and do solid
But I’m almost certain atleast one if not two out of these will fuck up and we get some surprise team like Düsseldorf (probably my dark horse to get atleast top9), Augsburg or even mainz on EL ranks

oh i think it's pretty much a given that at least one of them fucks up and won't make the top 7, that's how it usually goes: one team (like berlin, frankfurt, mainz in the past) overperforms, then gets raped in the transfer window, and then humiliated in europe.
i'm really more interested in who bayern supporters consider their biggest rival these days...

I would’ve said easily Schalke, even after goretzka
But as today another starter was sold, I’m no longer sure

I’d still rate them above Dortmund and leverkusen, probably on par with Leipzig to be the biggest „treat“

Hoffenheim could be a dark horse tho, as nagelsmann want to leave with some celebration

i dont see anyone stopping us right now tbh

i do like that schalke team, they made some nice business and added lots of quality
dortmund will need a year until favre can work his magic imo and yeah, they still dont have a proper striker
hoffenheim might be interesting and nagelsmann is on fire

leipzig and leverkusen are not on that level for me

obviously it would be nice if one team coud keep up until the end
schalke is the best bet right now imo

that is interesting. even though i praised their consistency in my post and think that despite their lack of top quality they still have a good team overall, i didn't expect schalke to be rated so highly by you.

i personally would like to see leverkusen finding a nice rhythm this season, they have the potential to produce some spectacular football, and i'm still somewhat hoping that dortmund can hang in there against the odds.
but yeah, it's by no means arrogant (from you) or fatalistic (from the rest of the league) not to expect any serious resistance, it's just a realistic evaluation of the league unfortunately...

leverkusen are an interesting team, for me they are just not solid enough

after this transfer window schalke have the second best squad on paper (imo) and a competent coach
top defense with veterans (naldo is such a boss), energetic wingers, solid midfield and lots of striker options
its true that there is no real star in the team like reus, but overall its a high quality team

they can look back on a strong season without having to rebuild or anything

thats why i rate them above dortmund right now
